Table Top Indoor Water Fountains As Home Decor
For those who have little space for a large indoor fountain or waterfall, but who appeciate the influence of moving water in a home environment, then an alternative is an indoor miniature table top fountain.
Table top fountains come in various sizes, so you will probably find something suitable even for a small table. With so many unusual or unque designs around, table top fountains make excellent indoor ornaments. They also come in various materials, so it is relatively easy to match your other home decor.
If your home has an Asian theme for its decor, then you may be lucky to find a table top fountain with an Asian influence, either in its design, or the materials it is made from; or both. The picture on the left is an Asian sphere marble fountain.
(Please click on any image for more details of this and other indoor fountains, and to buy your chose product.)This is a beautiful design, with natural stones, and cupped hands holding the spinning marble sphere. It only comes in one size, but is small enough to fit any table without appearing out of perspective.
Keeping with the Asian theme, bamboo is a wonderfully versatile wood, that can be used in furniture, house building, garden houses, and interior decor. A small piece of polished bamboo can also be used in a table top water fountain.
The unusual little fountain above left, has the water pouring through an upright piece of bamboo. The design incorporates the sound of flowing water, cast stone, and a black ceramic bowl as its base. This also comes in only one size, but is again small enough to look in place on any dining table. No two fountains will be absolutely the same, because of the natural materials used, so this makes a good choice for an unusual Asian theme indoor fountain.
The third choice pictured will suit those who are looking for a darker shade, in this case charcoal. This is a natural slate water fountain, and comes in three sizes to give you more scope to buy the most approriate size for your table. Each one is again unique, as the slate will always vary slightly in both shape and colouring.
